Christmas under the sun

Have you ever been to Gran Canaria for Christmas? It is a bit unusual to go to the beach during the day and see the Christmas trees with thousands of lights at night, but the temperature is very inviting so why don't you try? If you are here for Christmas, you can't miss the biggest Christmas attraction of the island - the largest Nativity scene made of sand. You can find it on Las Canteras beach in the capital of Las Palmas and it's done every year by several artists from various countries. It's more than 600m² large and the sculptors use hundreds of tons of sand to create this particular masterpiece which is known as the biggest sand Nativity in Europe. If you want to take a guided tour to visit it, you can come with us for our Happy Christmas Tour and you will also have time to do some Christmas shopping in the capital. There is a lot to do during the Christmas season here and we will keep you informed about all the interesting offers for Christmas and New Year's Eve. If you are coming in the beginning of January, it's still not finished here. The Spanish have their presents on Three Kings day (6th of January) and the night before there are traditional Three Kings' parades in all the towns so if you are lucky and if you behaved yourself, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar (the Three Kings) might have something for you too. Excursion for Three Kings' Parade in Las Palmas - COMING SOON! NEW! Check the Christmas vouchers and special Christmas programmes in our Online Shop.
